Terms of Service
Effective September 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BizLeadFeed (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
BizLeadFeed presents classified views of public business-entity filings obtained from official state bulk feeds — currently the Florida Division of Corporations daily files — together with derived fields, keyword-based industry classifications, optional official-list enrichment, and (on paid plans) saved alerts and email digests. Filings can lag formation by several days; we do not claim real-time. A data-through date is shown on the site.
2. Accounts
You can browse the public site without an account. Saving alerts, receiving email, and seeing same-day files requires an account. Accounts are created when you redeem a one-time magic link sent to your email. There are no passwords, backup codes, or alternative recovery. The email address that redeemed the magic link is the sole authorized user of that account. Access to the Service requires ongoing access to that inbox. If you lose the inbox, you lose the account. We will not transfer the account to a different address except as required by law. The session cookie issued after a successful redeem is how we know it is you. You are responsible for the email inbox that receives the link. Do not share magic links or your signed-in session, and do not use an address you cannot control.
3. Plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds
Paid plans (Starter, Alerts, Pro, Feed) are billed by Stripe. Starter is $1/month (evaluation tier, monthly only). Alerts, Pro, and Feed bill on a monthly or annual interval; the annual price is ten times the monthly price (pay for ten months, receive twelve). There is no 3- or 6-month SKU. Checkout is bound to the signed-in account; we do not treat Stripe as the authenticator.
- Cancel. Each charge covers the period that follows it — you pay for the month/year you're about to use, not the one behind you. Cancel anytime from the billing portal. Cancellation is at period end: you keep paid access until current_period_end, then the account returns to its free view. The portal does not offer pause.
- Refunds. No refunds of elapsed time. Cancel whenever you like — that stops future billing, and the Starter tier ($1/mo) is the low-cost way to evaluate the service before committing to a larger plan. Yearly plans: the two free months apply when the term completes; if you cancel early, unused full months are refunded pro-rata at the published monthly rate (the two-months-free discount is not applied to partial terms). Other refund requests — repeat requests, new emails on the same card, billing-error corrections, goodwill cases — are considered at our discretion. Any refund we issue (full or partial) sets the plan to free on the next request; your login session is not destroyed (you remain signed in on the free view).
- Failed renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we email you a link to update your card in the billing portal. Paid access continues through Stripe's retry window (three retries over three days). If the invoice is still unpaid after that, the subscription cancels and the account becomes free.
- Taxes. Prices are as shown at Checkout; Stripe collects any applicable tax Stripe is configured to collect.
We do not store card numbers. Plan is written only from Stripe webhooks. Manage billing at /billing.
4. What each plan includes
- Free / anonymous: browse official Florida filings that are at least 14 days old. No saved alerts and no email digest. Aggregate counts, company pages, and the sitemap stay public.
- Starter ($1/mo): the evaluation tier. Same-day files by email only: up to 1 saved alert and up to 10 leads per UTC calendar month delivered by digest. The web view stays on the free 14-day lag — same-day web access starts at Alerts. Monthly only.
- Alerts ($99/mo): same-day files, up to 10 saved alerts, up to 1,000 leads per UTC calendar month by email.
- Pro ($199/mo): same-day files, up to 25 saved alerts, up to 3,000 leads per UTC month.
- Feed ($299/mo): same-day files, up to 50 saved alerts, unlimited lead delivery for the state of Florida. Additional states, when offered, will be 50% off for Feed subscribers ($150/mo each) and must be elected separately — they do not turn on when a new state goes live.
A "lead" is one company included on a delivered alert in the UTC month. Matches you only view on the web are not counted. Days with zero matches cost nothing. Caps stay per calendar month even on an annual subscription. If you hit a cap we omit the extra names from that digest and tell you what the cap held back; we do not silently drop mail. Published prices and feature lists on /pricing control if they differ from this paragraph.
For 30 days after your first paid subscription, saved-alert and monthly lead caps are doubled (Feed lead delivery stays unlimited; saved alerts go to 100). The window starts when payment first activates the plan, not when the magic-link account is created. It does not restart on upgrade, renewal, or a later resubscribe. Alerts you already saved remain after the window; new saves use the published cap. This is a paid-plan welcome bonus, not a free trial.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. The Service is intended for business and professional use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or systematically copy data from the Service;
- circumvent usage limits, rate controls, freshness gates, or technical protections;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service's database, views, or substantial parts of its content;
- redistribute, forward, or share alert emails, digests, or attachments (including CSV or Excel exports) received from the Service except as needed inside your own firm;
- share account access or allow others to use your magic-link or session;
- present Service output as an official government source or remove provenance labeling when showing individual records;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including unlawful discrimination, harassment, or violations of applicable consumer-protection, debt-collection, or privacy laws;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
7. Data provenance; accuracy; no reliance
The underlying filings are public records published by state agencies; we claim no authorship of them. The Service displays data "as filed," and filings can lag company formation by several days. Derived fields are inferences and are labeled as such. Official-list matches (NPPES, DBPR, FMCSA) are sparse and labeled; we do not scrape the commercial web for phones. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without any representation or warranty as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose. You must verify any record against the official source before relying on it for a business decision. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, insurance, financial, or professional advice.
8. Intellectual property
Public records remain public. As between you and us, the Service's software, site design, compilations, classification logic, and original content are owned by BizLeadFeed. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms and your plan.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizLeadFeed and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BizLeadFeed and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel a paid plan as described in section 3. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms, or modify or discontinue the Service (or any part) at any time. If we terminate a paid account for convenience rather than for breach, unused prepaid time is handled through Stripe at our discretion. Sections 6–11 and 14–16 survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance. Material billing changes apply to subsequent renewal periods.
14. Dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to email [email protected] a description of the dispute and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Thereafter, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Florida, before a single arbitrator. You and we waive any right to participate in a class action. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property infringement in court. If this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, the dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
16. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms (with the Privacy Policy incorporated by reference) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. We may assign these Terms; you may not. Notices to you may be given by site posting or email to the address on your account.
